Are you compiling a kernel from scratch or using ubuntu? I have
solutions for both.
2.6.20.7 from scratch. Just compiled alsa 1.0.14rc4. Added patches, as outlined here: https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=2725 still no sound. '
