In my casae, the xine lib is used by Amarok as sound engine with ownconfig file. Last one is not related to any xine's runnables. If Itry xine-ui with 'xine --audio-driver alsa 01.wav', I get a messagesaying "Audiodevice is unavailable". The problem exists with 'hdsp'alsa driver only, which has not alsa mixer controls. With 'ice1724'driver all works fine.
Of course, 'aplay' works for 'hdsp' driver.
