Hi!

If you want stereo sound to be played on the two front channels only,
you can just use the "front" or the "plug:surround51" device. The first
has two only channels - the ones on the front - so it only plays stereo,
whereas the second has 6 channels, but it uses only the two on the front
when a stereo sound is being played on it. The "plug:" prefix makes it
use the "plug" plugin filling the channels 3 to 6 with silence, making a
5.1 sound out of it. The advantage of the second solution is that you
can use it with both stereo and 5.1 sounds.
