Thanks, but that does not help. With verbose output fromtimidity -iAvvv -B2,8 -Os -EFreverb=0I get the same almost same bunch of ME_NONE events. The difference is thatnumber before event is increasing as when file played by timidity itself, andevents are interleave with "output data (256)" messages: here is excerpt:
Midi Event 396680: ME_NONE 91 181 175output data (256)output data (256)output data (256)output data (256)Midi Event 397620: ME_NONE 91 181 175output data (256)output data (256)output data (256)output data (256)Midi Event 398560: ME_NONE 91 181 175                                           
No sound though since timidity seems not to get any note on events
