Geetings, I purchased a PS3 and installed Yellowdog linux (YDL 5). I can't get aplay to work nor when I write a program (using the ALSA API) to output a simple triangular wave no sound results. aplay and the sample program work fine on FC5 (x86). I am subscribed to yellowdog-general and yellowdog-devel but have not gotten responses back so I am giving this list a try. Has any one on this list had success with programming ALSA on the PS3?
