Hi, I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, but hopefully if it isn't someone can give me a steer. I currently use a Tascam US-122 USB device with ALSA quite successfully under the usx2y driver. Unfortunately, I was hoping to upgrade to one of Tascam's new USB2 devices (either the US-122L or the US-144) however I find that these do not currently work under ALSA. Is there an easy way of finding out what drivers are in development (and what stage the development is in)? I may have to find an alternative source of hardware but I'd rather buy from a manufacturer I know if I thought drivers were imminent. Regrettably, I suspect my application-oriented development skills are not up to attempting to create my own drivers.
