I recently read: "envy24control gives you access to the internal patchbay and all the mixer controls as well as full control of the S/PDIF configuration and the DACs." Does this mean that once I have asound.conf configured to simply list each device, I can control a 1712 card through envy24control? I currently have a 1724 and I'm having trouble getting s/pdif and analog working at the same time (previous e-mail to the list). I'm led to believe that this should be a trivial with an ice1712 card.
