 Hi.

I'm trying to setup sound in a packard bell easynote MX65-005 with ubuntu 6.10. As i said in the topic, sound starts, but only can be heard in one of the channels, in the other channel i only hear noise. At the moment when i try to change volume the sound stops working without any error.  Currently I'm using alsa-drivers 1.0.13 from alsa page.

If i unload the modules when the sound isn't working and load them again it start working until i change the volume.

I tried to load the module with some model=xxx options but i only get this (one for each module modprobe tries to load)

sudo modprobe snd_hda_intel model=laptop-eapd
...
FATAL: Error inserting snd_hda_intel (/lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/hda/snd-hda-intel.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

Here is the output of lspci -v

If you need more info let me know.
