As for reference, I'm an audio DIY-er, almost all signal chain is made by my hand :-) LADSPA is a more high level. ALSA driver configuring is much more appreciated. If so, AFAIR there is LADSPA inverting plugin, or it can be easily written. But, anyway, why do you care ?
