OK, so I switched from ldaps to ldap in adm.conf and it started working again.

I believe I had this working, at some point - but I don't use the console very often and I haven't checked it in a while (several update-cycles).

This seems to some sort of generic error, so I'm not sure how to proceed..

Any ideas?
