The short answer is "very probably yes".
Replication protocol supports it but you still need to be cautious and ensure that everything done on one of the server is also doable on the other.
In practice the main risk is usually about the schema (IMHO: you should better align the schema to avoid nasty surprise)
But anyway such a deployment deserves a serious test phase.
