Hi Jan,
This is definitely an older version of the server, I would highly
suggest to get onto the latest 1.4.x version that you can. 1.4.0 has
not been maintained in a very long time, and is missing important fixes.
As for this error, I have not seen this before. The first thing to try
would have been to restart the server which promises to refresh the RUV
entry & in-memory. If that does not help maybe try to reindex the
entryrdn index once more to see if it helps. If that still does not
help, then you can export the database (using the replication data
option) and reimport it (this will not break replication or require any
further action):
dsconf -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w "$pswd" ldap://localhost
backend export cesnet_cz --replication --ldif repl_export.ldif
dsconf -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w "$pswd" ldap://localhost

I tried to do indexes one after one, everyting is working fine untill

Only solution I've discovered is to disable replication,
reinitializing all suffixes. This is quite painful.:(
How to avoid this error? And how to fix it when it happens? Thanks for
