Debian unstable has 1.4.3 so I installed: # tail -1 /etc/apt/sources.list deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ unstable main # apt-get install 389-ds/unstable cockpit/unstable Ran : dscreate interactive cockpit 389 tab showed: "There is no 389-ds-base package installed on this system.
