After our EL7 IPA servers updated to 389-ds-base-1.3.7.5-24.el7_5.x86_64 yesterday, we saw ns-slapd eventually start consuming 100% cpu, eventually failing to serve some requests, and eventually running out of file descriptors. I've filed https://pagure.io/389-ds-base/issue/49815 You may want to proceed cautiously with this update.
