After a LOT of pain I've been able to upgrade all three RHEL5 instances to 8.2 The update has indeed removed all the "comma space" issues. Unfortunately it's also broken replication :( errors:[05/May/2017:11:40:57 +0100] NSMMReplicationPlugin - Replication agreement for agmt="cn=ldap0-ldap3 userRoot" (ldap3:389) could not be updated. For replication to take place, please enable the suffix and restart the server This seems to explain the solution: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/53666 Two important things though... 1) setup-ds-admin.pl -u did not correct the entries in our dse.ldif file on our Directory Master. 2) Stopping dirsrv and editing the dse.ldif file directly removing the space in ALL instances of "2C dc" fixed our problem. After starting Dirsrv again all replication agreements worked as before. We've now got all directories in sync :) The final step now is to migrate the directory master to a CentOS 7 instance. _______________________________________________ 389-users mailing list -- 389-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to 389-users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
