It looks like not all error conditions are being reported in the str2entry_dupcheck code. I've opened an issue for this: https://fedorahosted.org/389/ticket/49123 For now, you can run the import with log trace (-d 1) - it will be "slow" but it will show you the error conditions and failing entry that is the problem in your ldif.
