And, you can use the epel-testing-389-ds-base to get the most recent stable versions of 389-ds-base if you want something newer than what the OS provides.

But if I install with epel-testing-389-ds-base, I can't have a stable version, it's a testing one ?

1.2.11 is already stable in F17 and in RHEL 6.4.

The last one ;) , do you know how to force a specific version ?

Find the rpms and install the rpms directly?

You're right, I need Posix Winsync API plug-in attributes.

Thanks a lot for you reactivity, I'm impressed !

Hello,

I take a look for 389DS centos version, and I need to install epel repo otherwise there is just 389-ds-base, and I need the graphic part too.

Right.  389-ds-base comes from the core EL6, the rest come from EPEL6.

And for RedHat Directory Server it's not free (do you have any idea about the price ?).

No, not sure.

Am I right ?

Best regards,
Alex

Hello,

do you know when the stable version 1.2.11 will be available ?

By your line of questioning I assume you are talking about EL6, and you are not using the "official" packages from RHEL6 or CentOS6, you are using the epel-389-ds-base.repo

There is a 1.2.11 in testing - it will be available in stable once enough users confirm that it works.

This is available since version 1.2.11

Hello,

I have a 389DS, version 1.2.9.14 install on a redhat 6.

I want to synchronize POSIX Attributes for Users and Groups as describe on the documentation below (12.5.1):

https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Directory_Server/9.0/html/Administration_Guide/posix-sync.html

But Posix Winsync API Plugin doesn't exist.

Do you have any idea ?

Best regards,
Alex
