You have two options

- Create a certificate for slave server, get it signed from the CA of
master, import certificate in slave along with CA certificate of
master.

or

- Create a new CA in slave, create/sign slave certs from CA in slave &
enable SSL. Now for replication, Trust CA certs for each other &
configure replication.

 http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/389-users/2013-January/015400.html
have all the steps of option 1.
