Hi

Is there any document where I could find the version equivalence
between 389 Directory Server and Red Hat Directory Server?
No.
Most of the
documentation i sin Red Hat Docs, but I don't know which version
should I see... I use 389DS 1.2.5, so which documentation version
should I read, 8.1, 8.2, 9.0?
1.2.5 is roughly the same as 8.2

The problem is that the RHDS releases contain many bug fixes and, in some cases, small features backported from later versions of 389. So, for example, 8.2 will contain some small features and many bug fixes backported from 1.2.6-1.2.9. I suppose the best place to look would be the %changelog for redhat-ds-base.spec. We used to keep the RHDS source tree more or less separate from the 389 source tree, but beginning with RHEL 6, since 389-ds-base is now in the core OS, the 389-ds-base in RHEL is based on the external source tarball, so it is easier to see what version RHEL is based on and what patches went into it.

Regards.
