NB: can't login/connect to FDS

I appreciate your help, Patrick.
Yeah.. I tried ldapsearch before I sent the message, but always rcv'd
an error. That error I can't remember (not at work right now) but it
was something to do with sasl.

I'll let you know tomorrow what it was and maybe you can tell me why
it's not working.
