Fedora Management Console simply hangs when trying to create user

Well, my update finally completed.  I had to disable SElinux and fix
permissions on one directory before the dirsrv-admin service would
start up again.  Now I have another problem.  The 389-console gui
starts up but there are no text labels on any of the fields.  I'm not
sure what to type into each box because these labels are missing.
This seems like a very buggy LDAP implementation...anyway if someone
has an idea how to fix this newest problem please let me know.
