Sorry about that.  This is our first real release using EPEL.  The 
process for EPEL is a little bit different.  Packages cannot be pushed 
directly to stable, they must go into testing first, and must acquire at 
least 3 karma points.  The packages are current available from the 
testing repos.

If you can, please install 389-ds-base-1.2.5 from the EPEL testing repo:

yum install/upgrade 389-ds --enablerepo=epel-testing

and give us some feedback at 
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/EL-5/FEDORA-EPEL-2010-0061
or just email the list with your feedback and we will add it.
