A guy named Peter Nixon is working on 389 packages for Suse -

2.0 or 2.2 should work.  We've been supporting both for years.  The 
problem is that distros all install Apache in different and mutually 
incompatible ways - Debian is quite different than Fedora is quite 
different than Suse etc.
