I still get that error. :( [root at ldap01 /]# rpm -qa | grep 389 389-console-1.1.3-4.el5 389-dsgw-1.1.4-1.el5 389-ds-base-1.2.5-0.3.rc2.el5 389-ds-1.1.3-4.el5 389-ds-console-1.2.0-4.el5 389-ds-console-doc-1.2.0-4.el5 389-admin-1.1.8-4.el5 389-admin-console-doc-1.1.4-1.el5 389-adminutil-1.1.8-3.el5 389-admin-console-1.1.4-1.el5 Steps to erase 389-ds: Remove-ds-admin.pl ?y ?d -f yum erase 389-ds 389-ds-base 389-admin 389-adminutil adminutil yum clean all yum install 389-ds 389-ds-base 389-admin 389-adminutil adminutil --nogpgcheck ----- I think that you have not upgraded adminutil and your admin server or you have not deleted their previous versions. you should have 389-adminutil version 1.1.8-3.el5 (if it'se RHEL/CentOS) and 389-admin version 1.1.8-4.el5.
