Newb question about Solaris X86

Ok, Now that I have the sun compiler involved I'm going to remove the  
environment variables and fix the configure.in and Makefiles to be  
back the way they were.

I'll try that and then report back on the how, why, and where.

I ran the make command in the dsbuild.
